The Leather: Horween® Dublin
Dublin is a full grain, vegetable-tanned leather made by Horween® in Chicago — tanned with the same tree-bark extract blend as their legendary Shell Cordovan. A hard wax finish gives it pull-up character: it lightens where it flexes, then deepens back with wear. Naturally finished, so color and grain vary piece to piece — that's the point.
How It Ages
Vegetable-tanned leather only gets better with use. Expect the color to deepen and a rich patina to build over months of carry — scuffs burnish in rather than standing out. Day 1 and Day 1,000 look like two different (better) wallets.

Front pocket or back pocket? Both — it's a full-size bifold that stays slim because the card slots don't over-stack.
Will it hold euros, pounds, or yen? Yes — any note smaller than 193 × 80mm fits flat.
Will it scratch? Surface marks are normal on naturally finished leather and burnish into the patina — that's the leather working as designed.
How do I care for it? Mostly: use it. A light conditioning with Tanner's Blend or Venetian Shoe Cream once or twice a year is plenty.
